In Australia you do not have to leave far away to see interesting animals. On our back yard, front yard and nursing homes yard we have continuously something wonderful to see.
This little bird is on our back yard everyday. Yesterday and today we threw some bread for it to eat and placed a water bowl outside too.
Today Aino bumped into a snake while on wound caring cycle. Later everyone was staring at the snake and that's when the snake started to crawl a bit further up to do some companionship! This snake is Brown Tree Snake and it is not venomous. It was really pretty and surprisingly nice.
These long legged birds are called Curlews. We call them "kuulu's" in finnish because that's what we were taught. They are pretty rare birds and live on the ground. (Fast googling shows that they are actually called "Kuovi's" in finnish. 😂) When we arrived to Australia there was a bird family consisting of mom, dad and two fluffy puffy baby birds. Now all four of them are almost similar size but they still walk together always on group of four and they defended each other from everything. They live near the nursing home yard and move around on day time.
This bird is a "yellow beak bird". We don't know the real name of it. We were told that they are kind of aggressive when they are on their breeding time but now they are really shy and we can't get close of them. Pretty funny looking aren't they?
Kaunis auringonlasku muutama viikko sitten. 💗
Beautiful sunset few weeks ago. 💗

Meikä ei pääsis tuolla ikinä töihin asti, kun aina puskasta ilmestyisi jotain uutta kivaa kuvattavaa. V.C.
